To Poets Grand and Small by Seymour Shubin

August 21, 2014August 21, 2014 by David M Jackson

To Poets Grand and Small

Where are the Hail Oh Suns, the
Lo the Moon Doth Glows, Oh
Princess Mines, Hark the village wakens?
Am I this far behind,
Or ahead again?
Slow, slow
I will catch up
Or doth I,
Damn, damn,
I’ll just wait for you
