Still that Shy Little Girl Poem by Marilyn McIntyre

August 25, 2022August 25, 2022 by David M Jackson

#47 Later and Dog Speaks
by Marilyn McIntyre

#47 later
I’m still that
shy little big girl
able body
frowning face
a voice that
dooms
to speak
golden-haired
with a mean
left
not much has changed
i still put my trousers on
one leg at a time
but backwards.
