The Addams Family S01e01 The Addams Family Goes to School
Sam Hilliard, a truant cop, is visiting the Addams family because neither of the children has ever set foot in school. He persuades Morticia and Gomez to meet with the principal, Miss Comstock. Miss Comstock, who doesn't think much of Mr. Hilliard, persuades the Addams to take Wednesday and Pugsley to school, but also asks Hilliard to go back home to Addams. The children of Addams are disturbed by the fairy tales of Grimms that are read at school; they think that dragons are actually killed. Hilliard is frightened by the Addams, particularly Lurch and the loud gong that summons him, but he's most surprised when Gomez suggests that he's trying to relax.

The polling day is coming, and Gomez is very enthusiastic about it. He puts up all his old campaign posters; all the favorite candidates of Gomez are losers, in general. Sam Hilliard is running for city council, and Gomez is throwing behind the man his support. Hilliard is willing to get his hands on the donations to Gomez ' campaign. Gomez says he'd like to see the money spent in some respects, however. Hilliard wishes they would completely stay away from his campaign after hearing some of the suggestions of the Addams.

Pugsley and Wednesday were attending friend Harold Pomeroy's birthday party. After that, Fester's salary is revoked, and he gets a job as an insurance salesman for Henson Insurance. It's not hard to guess to whom he's selling his first scheme, which has the head of the company in an uproar, and he's storming his way out of the Addams house to wheedle.

Thinking that there might be Martians, they happily decide to tarry and see while the M.S.O. investigators converge on the Addams estate with the same idea. The two parties meet, each of whom believes that the others come from another country.

Uncle Fester thinks that his conjuring mishap has turned Pugsley into a chimpanzee. Unwilling to leave their precious home, Gomez and Morticia come up with the idea: to move the house to another location. Gomez buys a vacant lot next to the home of Arthur Henson, and pays for their house to be moved there.
The Addams Family S01e31 Uncle Fester's Toupee
Uncle Fester confesses that he has been exaggerated by his Illinois pen pal, Madelyn, particularly by having a full head of hair-a mane equal to his brittle athleticism. For Madelyn's upcoming visit, Uncle Fester's Morticia and Gomez are wearing a hairpiece, but when Morticia discovers that Madelyn had five husbands, all now deceased, she starts to think about Uncle Fester's future happiness.
The Addams Family S01e32 Cousin Itt and the Vocational Counselor
Morticia thinks that marriage counseling would be the perfect career choice for Cousin Itt. To prove it to him, she and Gomez pretend to be a couple in trouble, but the pretense goes awry when she begins to believe in parts of Gomez's play-acting fantasy.
