I was wondering what she meant
when she said, "It's time to face the truth."
It was the message that she sent,
the strength to face bad news.

She said Darling Darling Darling do you love me?
Darling Darling Darling do you care?
Darling Darling are you thinking of me.
Darling will you always be there.

It struck me by suprise
then I realized
how I'd failed to make her see.
She's my strength, my love, my life, my destiny.

She said Darling Darling Darling do you love me?
Darling Darling Darling do you care?
Darling Darling are you thinking of me.
Darling will you always be there.

Darling will you always be there.

I didn't know what to say
and then I remembered
the day I first met her.
I told her how our eyes
when first they met
they knew it was forever

I said Darling Darling Darling yes I love you
Darling Darling Darling you're so fair.
Darling Darling I'm thinking of you.
Darling I will always be there.

Darling I will always be there.

I said Darling Darling Darling yes I love you
Darling Darling Darling you're so fair.
Darling Darling I'm thinking of you.
Darling I will always be there.

Darling I will always be there.
