December 6th marked a December 2017 Book Release Reading of new books during Community Poetry @ Half Price Books from Scars Publications, which saw the release of the books “Flawed Cadaver” from cc&d magazine; and “the Lighthouse” from Down in the Dirt magazine. Because it was an end-of-the-year reading at this feature poetry reading event, Janet Kuypers also read material from the 2017 Scars Publications collection books that were recently released, and was able to share poems, haiku poems and one piece of flash fiction from the poetry and prose collection anthology “On a rainy Day” and the poetry and flash fiction collection anthology “Negative Space”. Janet Kuypers also read material from from her 2017 book releases “(pheromemes) 2015-2017 show poems” and “(pheromemes) 2015-2017 poems” as the finale readings to the Community Poetry @ Half Price Books reading in Austin.
