Audioboo \/ Sections of Seam by Laura Lamarca<\/a>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She could remember those 8pm skies,<\/strong>
\nthat slumbered with a tamarind tinge<\/strong>
\nand the rustling of rainfall<\/strong>
\nas it slid inside her pain.<\/strong>
\nTheir expressions etched themselves<\/strong>
\non musical scores, that they wept<\/strong>
\non blank-paper pages and<\/strong>
\ncandle-smoked hopes that she’d kept.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They were a lighter shade of lust,<\/strong>
\nfollowing fantasies of a deeper thirst,<\/strong>
\nthat went just like water<\/strong>
\nthrough the skin of their sighs…<\/strong>
\nbut they’d blown baby kisses<\/strong>
\nthrough betrayal’s fresh scent,<\/strong>
\nwhile forever crawled inside cavities–<\/strong>
\nyet neither chose to repent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They’d risen through varying odours<\/strong>
\nof oregano’s subtle hues,<\/strong>
\nwhilst his roaming tabletops had turned<\/strong>
\non red buses and lying dreams<\/strong>
\nand the screams of her silence<\/strong>
\nsettled, to give her second sight…<\/strong>
\nwhen thoughts wandered to Her–<\/strong>
\nthe queen of his night.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Envy engraved itself into her palms<\/strong>
\nshivering sorrow through shared regrets,<\/strong>
\nwhile her self-worthiness withered<\/strong>
\nto such a saddened state.<\/strong>
\nYet fate flexed her fingers<\/strong>
\nwithin forgiveness’ flame,<\/strong>
\nwhilst the need of their connection<\/strong>
\nplays a dangerous game.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She’s mistress of her own heart,<\/strong>
\nyet lets him breathe through her veins–<\/strong>
\nlike TV addiction<\/strong>
\nand many smudges of soft.<\/strong>
\nShe adores him…yet holds back<\/strong>
\nbecause she’s taught herself of<\/strong><\/p>\n

the fear of deceit’s discovery<\/strong>
\nand his inability to love.<\/strong><\/p>\n

About The Author<\/h1>\n

Laura Lamarca<\/strong> is a 39 year old widowed mother of three teenagers originally hailing from the northern county of Lancashire, but now residing on the South coast of England.<\/span>

\n<\/span>
\nLaura is a professional poet and author of three books of poetry and one Chapbook to date, the latest book was released in December 2011 by GJBPublishing.co.uk titled \u201cDonec Alius Diei\u201d.<\/span>

\nLaura is also the creator of 18 globally recognized forms of formal poetry, these include \u201cThe Licentia Rhyme Form\u201d, the \u201cLa`Tuin\u201d and the L`Arora\u201d forms. She has also recently created 3 more forms…these are the “Jordec Verse”, “La Dan Form” and a collaborated and highly technical form with Poet Jem Farmer titled the “LaJemme”.

\nIn her spare time, she teaches the art of expression through the written word to pupils all over the world at no cost to them. She also writes hugely for charity and actively supports charities that raise awareness for cancer, third world plight, dolphins and gun and knife crime.<\/span>

\nShe has the belief that there is a brighter day for all, given the compassion and commitment of others\u2026one voice can raise a thousand voices, a thousand voices can raise the whole world.\u00a0 She is of the belief that ultimate truth does not exist, that everything is personal perspective and probable outcome.<\/span><\/p>\n
