On the scrubbed wood just here,<\/b><\/p>\n she puts the pitcher down, so that the slide<\/b><\/p>\n of drops against its lip catches what light<\/b><\/p>\n there is for pitchers here this afternoon.<\/b><\/p>\n She does not really see the drops, or quite<\/b><\/p>\n attend the blue. A common thing. But soon<\/b><\/p>\n the tide will turn, and salty smells will rise<\/b><\/p>\n to circle in the street, and to her ears<\/b><\/p>\n will come the voices.
