Although born in\u00a0Zonnebeke<\/a>,\u00a0Belgium<\/a>, and a native speaker of\u00a0Dutch<\/a>, he writes in\u00a0French<\/a>\u00a0and occasionally\u00a0English<\/a>. His painting is abstract, falling somewhere between\u00a0minimalism<\/a>\u00a0and monochrome\u00a0expressionism<\/a>.<\/div>\n
