\r\ntattoos\u00a0<\/strong>\r\n__________\r\n\r\nShe was a witch\r\nburnt alive\u00a0\r\nonly to raise\u00a0\r\nfrom the ashes\r\nto start playing\u00a0\r\nagain with fire\r\n\r\nShe was a nymph\r\nmud thrown at her\r\nface in disgust\r\nShe reshaped her\r\ncloudy dreams\r\nout of that thick mud\r\n\r\nShe is the woman\r\nnext door\r\nbeaten blue\r\nthick makeup\r\nbarely covering up\r\nfossils of last night\r\n\r\nShe is the man\u00a0\r\nin the gym\r\nstuffing pain\u00a0\r\nmixed with pride\r\ndown his throat\r\nnumb with power\r\n\r\nShe is the child\r\nwith vacant eyes\r\nmute questions\r\nmonsters eating\u00a0\r\nfairies at night\r\nsand castles smashed\r\n\r\nShe is you\r\nme\u00a0\r\nand them\u00a0\r\nscratching tattoos\u00a0\r\ntrapped between blind walls\u00a0\r\nof our own Auschwitz\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nunwelcome guest\u00a0<\/strong>\r\n____________________\r\n\r\n\r\nshe meets this man\r\nin her city\u00a0\r\n\r\nan unwelcome guest\r\n\r\na few days left\r\nbefore he leaves again\r\nfor another city\r\nor a tempest-tossed shore\r\n\r\nsmoke-stained lips\r\nlong-forgotten dreams\r\nwalk like shadows\r\nin quickly-smudged tears\r\nworn-out coast\r\npiercing out of jaws\r\njewels of freedom\r\nforbidden\u00a0\r\nor hidden somewhere in\u00a0\r\nunwashed hair\r\n\r\nwords exchanged\r\nsighs shared\r\ntwo pairs of eyelashes\r\ngreeting each other\r\n\r\na butchered sun\u00a0\r\ntrapped between barbed wire <\/pre>\n
