\r\n\r\n\r\nExam Week<\/strong>\r\n \r\nWe were in the middle of finals\r\nand needed a quick getaway, so\r\nwe dug out our bathing suits and\r\npacked a cooler with beer and those\r\nhard chocolate chip muffins we\r\nbrought back from the cafeteria.\r\n \r\nI wore a black, polka dot swimsuit\r\nthat laced up the front. It was just a\r\nlittle tight across my tits and, for once,\r\nI had cleavage. My hair looked like\r\nMadonna\u2019s when she did \u201cLike A Virgin,\u201d\r\neven though I wasn\u2019t one. Neither was she.\r\n \r\nAll afternoon, I sunned my young body\r\non a floating dock and you swam in the lake.\r\nWe thought of nothing. Not school, not exams,\r\nnot the muffins, not the beer, not our families,\r\nand not our friends who didn\u2019t know where we were.\r\n \r\nI think of that day when I feel like ending my life.\r\nI have no idea whatever happened to you and don\u2019t\r\neven remember the last time we spoke or saw each other.\r\nAll I know is that day. It happened. I remember it.\r\nAll afternoon, life was lighter than it has ever been since.\r\n\r\nI could float. <\/pre>\n
