A fucked up life<\/strong>\r\n\r\nliving in Zurich to work in a small town\r\nworking in a small town to live in Zurich\r\n\r\neverything for\r\na small retirement benefit\r\n\r\neverything for\r\ntomorrow\u00b4s future\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nevery single morning the alarm o\u00b4clock\r\n\r\n                                 the train leaves at 6.09\r\n\r\n                                 the train leaves at 6.09\r\n\r\n\r\nteaching three modules when the rest of teachers\r\n\r\nteach two\r\n\r\nwishing to change that\r\n\r\n\r\n                          and as the cuckoo, open your beak,\r\n                          open your beak, but nothing changes\r\n\r\ngetting up again\r\ntaking the same seat at 6.05\r\n\r\nsleeping on the same train seat\r\non the way to work\r\nsleeping standing\r\non your way back \r\n\r\n                to yawn at the wrong timing\r\n                to yawn at the wrong timing\r\n\r\ngetting to the small town exhausted\r\ngetting  back to Zurich      more  than exhausted\r\n\r\nknowing that today is a piece of gold for \r\nthe retirement benefit, the retirement benefit\r\nthe precious  golden retirement benefit\r\ncooking not so much \u00b4cos the lack of sleeping\r\n\r\n DON\u00b4T DREAM\r\n                                                         DON\u00b4T DREAM much\r\n                                                         DON\u00b4T DREAM\r\n                                                         DON\u00b4T DREAM much\r\n\r\na fucked up life\r\na fucked up life\r\n\r\nliving in Zurich to work in a small town\r\nworking in a small town to live in Zurich\r\n\r\nhaving a reduced future for\r\na little retirement benefit in Switzerland\r\n\r\n                             having a reduced morning\r\n                             to sleep or not to sleep\r\n                             to sleep or not to sleep\r\n                             never dreams, never dreams\r\n                                             sleeping on a train, sleeping on a train \r\n                                                but never do it, but never do it       in class\r\n                            \r\nCan\u00b4t- get - out, can\u00b4t get out, can\u00b4t get out\r\n\r\n                             from the clock, \t\tfrom the cow, \r\n                             from the knife,  \t\tfrom the cheese\r\n                             from the Swiss       \tfucking snow,\r\n                             \t\t\t\tfucking snow, \r\n                             \t\t\t\t\t           can\u00b4t get out\r\n                             from fucking Switzerland\r\n                             \t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfrom fucking Swiss \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\twhite clean tyranny.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nVera Moreno\r\nfrom The broken bodies\u00b4 fitness center\r\nC\u00e9sar Sim\u00f3n Poetry Award 2019<\/em><\/pre>\n
Una vida jodida<\/strong>\r\n\r\nvivir en Zurich para trabajar en un peque\u00f1o pueblo\r\ntrabajar para vivir en Zurich\r\ntener una peque\u00f1a pensi\u00f3n, \r\npara el d\u00eda de ma\u00f1ana\r\n\r\n cada ma\u00f1ana el despertador\r\n\t\t\t           el tren sale a las 6.09\r\n                                \r\nimpartir tres m\u00f3dulos cuando el resto imparte dos\r\nquerer cambiar, \t\t\t     \r\n                                   y como el cuco, abrir la boca\r\n\r\nlevantarse de nuevo\r\nsentarse a las 6.05 en ese tren\r\n\r\n\r\ndormir sentada\r\ndormir de pie\r\ndormir en el tren de ida  \r\ndormir en el tren de vuelta\r\n\r\n                                              bostezar a destiempo\r\n\r\nllegar al pueblo exhausta\r\nllegar a Zurich exhausta\r\nsabiendo que el d\u00eda cotiza en bolsa o en la pensi\u00f3n\r\ncocinar poco por el sue\u00f1o\r\n\r\nNO \r\n                                                                          so\u00f1ar\r\n\r\nuna vida jodida\r\nvivir en Zurich para trabajar en un peque\u00f1o pueblo\r\ntrabajar para vivir en Zurich\r\n\r\ntener un ma\u00f1ana reducido\r\nuna pensi\u00f3n peque\u00f1a en Suiza\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\ttener una ma\u00f1ana reducida\r\n\t\t\t\t\t               dormir o no dormir\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t       dormir o no dormir\r\n                                                en el tren s\u00ed, en clase no\r\n\r\nno-poder-salir \r\n\t\t\t   del reloj, la vaca, la navaja, el queso\r\n                                                                          la nieve\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nVera Moreno\r\nPoema procedente de el gimnasio de los rotos\r\nPremio de Poes\u00eda C\u00e9sar Sim\u00f3n 2019<\/em><\/pre>\n

Vera Moreno (Madrid, 1972). A multifaceted writer, teacher, rhapsodist,  and cultural activist. She loves performance and videopoems. <\/p>\n
She holds a Master Degree in Artistic, Literary and Cultural Studies from the Autonomous University of Madrid; and a Sociology and Political Sciences Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. She also did Women\u00b4s studies at Utrecht University in NL.<\/p>\n
In 2013 she was recognized as a New Voice by the feminist publishing House Torremozas (Madrid). Vera Moreno was published by Amargord publisher in a double poetry book called The whole orange (La naranja entera) in 2016.  Three years later, she won the C\u00e9sar Sim\u00f3n poetry reward at the University of Valencia with the poems book called  The broken bodies\u00b4 fitness center<\/em> (El gimnasio de los rotos). Next year a new book is coming. <\/p>\n
Some of her texts and poems have been translated into Dutch, Esperanto and English.<\/p>\n
As a cultural activist she created in 2001 a innovative cultural radio space of one minute lenght called Europe for Culture on Europe FM national radio station. In 2012 Vera Moreno designed and coordinated participative literary events called Literary Moondays <\/em> (Lunes literarios) at the Rivas city hall  – centro cultural del ayuntamiento de Rivas, and co-founder of the poetry channel on youtube Poes\u00eda a domicilio \/ Poetry delivery<\/em>, with the great Dominican poet Rosa Silverio (2021).
