CUBIST GHETTOS\r\n\r\nI think\r\nTo shrink\r\nThe distance\r\nOf resistance\r\nInside self\r\nTo all else-\r\n\r\nKnowing\r\nShowing\r\nVulnerability\r\nIn the mystery\r\nLeaves what is closed\r\nOpenly exposed-\r\n\r\nTo explanation\r\nUnder examination\r\nWhen there isn\u2019t one\r\nThat hasn\u2019t gone\r\nUntil roof floor and sky door\r\nAre no more-\r\n\r\nOnly roulette rubbles\r\nOf drone troubles\r\nImprisoning\r\nReasoning\r\nIn cubist ghettos\r\nWearing jazz stilettos-\r\n\r\nFlashing flamingo legs\r\nTo pink paradise harlem heads\r\nWhile new trees grow up mute\r\nAnd ripen with strange fruit\r\nSome whites too this time\r\nA drowned boy me and mine. <\/pre>\n
CLOUDS OF CHAOTIC CROWDS\r\n\r\nSmitten-\r\nBitten\r\nLike Faustus-\r\nLeave the house dust\r\nWith fool\u2019s gold\r\nUnsold.\r\nThis conveyor belt lair\r\nA castle in the air\r\nFor Dante\u2019s dreams of doubt\r\nTo wander about\r\nIn, with voices that pretend\r\nTo be a different friend-\r\nOh my, what a frame,\r\nToo big to blame\r\nAnd beyond a simple say\r\nTo save and stay-\r\nSo, close the dungeon door\r\nTo be what you were before\r\nAnd walk away\r\nInto the clouds\r\nOf chaotic crowds\r\nFalling as rain\r\nOn sterile plain.<\/pre>\n
DOES HER FAR BEAUTY KNOW\r\n\r\ndoes her\r\nfar beauty know\r\nwhere my thoughts go\r\nwithout her\r\nwhen i walk\r\nin lush rain lashing down-\r\n\r\nsquatting in enclosed fields\r\nof remote wheat and barley\r\naround told feudal cities and towns-\r\nto talk\r\nto fate and how it feels\r\nto be emptied entirely\r\nof hopes sounds-\r\n\r\nthese evolutions\r\nfill rich men's purses\r\nand revolutions\r\nare poor universes\r\nthat try to bend\r\nthe unequal\r\nto be equal\r\nwithout end.\r\n\r\ndoes her\r\nfar beauty know\r\nwhere my thoughts go\r\nwith her\r\nwhen i walk\r\nin lush rain lashing down-\r\n\r\nsoaked in moments come to this\r\nparadise and precipice\r\nbelonging\r\nbonding\r\nthoughts\r\nserendipitous\r\nblowing into us-\r\n\r\ngives shelter to the self\r\nof us and other else-\r\nunlike bare rooms we rent\r\nto leave behind\r\nwhen change moves us to fit\r\ninto it-\r\nwith only our echo and scent\r\nof passion and mind.<\/pre>\n
