\n There is a neat, round hole
\n cut into the small tree bushes
\n across the way from
\n our bathroom window.
\n Sticking out of this hole
\n is a thick complex telescope.
\n I thought it was a tree limb,
\n passed it many times walking
\n the dog Jeff who had no opinion.
\n When I realized what was afoot,
\n I confronted our voyeuristic neighbor.
\n He said he had little interest in me
\n my skin too flaccid on the bone,
\n thin and thinner, despite absolution.
\n My wife however is voluptuous.
\n He often observes her on the toilette,
\n long legged, ankles turned slightly in.
\n Piquant and still retaining
\n much if not all of her original sin.
\n
