An Audio Textual Poem by Debashish Haar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Spirit of Corona Times\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6gNBIdPvqbM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<pre>This moment is a metaphor, \r\n\r\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the metaphor is a war,\r\n\r\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the war for the survival of mankind.\r\n\r\n\r\nIts victims are those who sold weapon\r\n\r\n     its victims are those who bought the weapons,\r\n\r\n          its victims are those on whom incendiary explosives were and are being fired.\r\n\r\n\r\nIts victims are those who armtwisted national regimes, \r\n\r\n     its victims are the benighted nations,\r\n\r\n          its victims are rich, its victims are poor.\r\n\r\n           \r\nIts victims are those who stockpile nuclear arsenal, \r\n\r\n     but have scant PPEs and Ventilators,\r\n\r\n             its victims are the stereotyped minorities.\r\n\r\n\r\nIts victims are the old who have lived their lives,\r\n\r\n     its victims are millennials in callow youth having starry dreams, \r\n\r\n          its victims are infants and even new borns.\r\n\r\n\r\nIts victims are those who are living lives in house arrest \r\n     \r\n      fending an invisible nano scale enemy threatening to reduce the world\r\n\r\n           in a nuclear winter without any bombs being dropped.\r\n\r\n\r\nThis moment is an allegory,\r\n\r\n       which nobody knows, no one understands,\r\n\r\n             it stammers and rattles, and speaks everything at once!\r\n\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artvilla.com\/plt\/edge-a-poem-by-debashish-haar\/img_20180826_122554\/#main\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6591\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6591\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artvilla.com\/plt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_20180826_122554-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.artvilla.com\/plt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_20180826_122554-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.artvilla.com\/plt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_20180826_122554-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Debashish is a machine learning scientist, who has been published in literary magazines several<br \/>\ntimes across the globe, including Poetry Life &amp; Times, where he was interviewed twice.<\/p>\n<p>He is currently contending with a severe writer&#8217;s block spanning a decade, when he has hardly<br \/>\nproduced any publishable content.
