That&#8217;s what I love,<br \/>\nnot you<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Gentle, gallant, it keeps the milky warmth of a blade of wheat<br \/>\noffering itself at dawn<br \/>\nbreaking earlier than myself, heralding<br \/>\n&#8212; from its delta-<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nthe descent of dreams<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nI love your eyes. For their sea, for their fairy<br \/>\nfor their<br \/>\n<em>id<\/em><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nand whilst each time i shatter the image of blue cliches<br \/>\nyou invade that which has no colour, each time leaving it within<br \/>\nthat which i&#8217;ll never<br \/>\ndiscover<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nnot you<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nI love your caligraphy. Remains of eternity, my inheritance<br \/>\nthat you pretend   as yet yours<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nvoice that sweetly swathes me<br \/>\nand tungsten. Impossible firefly, there<br \/>\nI love your caligraphy because it cleanses  each time the wound of having thought i knew you<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n (and the treasure of the hidden note in the third stanza, when <em> id<\/em><br \/>\nshipwrecks<br \/>\nwhere we read<br \/>\n<em>because it cleanses  each time the wound of having thought i knew you<\/em><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nto read again now<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nbecause it gently opens the wound whether i knew<br \/>\nhow to love<br \/>\ndespite not knowing<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nI love your caligraphy   because it lets me recognise you<br \/>\na balm which you prepare for me, it  says<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nto recognise has been to know<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nso<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nthere exists the possibility that i have<br \/>\nyou, that\u00b4s what your caligraphy says, it says my<br \/>\nmy love for you<br \/>\nthat i have not yet known,<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nit extends before my eyes and on my skin bares \u2013 a code so familiar as to be indeciph&#8211;<br \/>\nsunsets and a bond of views without other qualification than their<br \/>\ncertainty<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nthis breeze that rustles my skin, carouses my blood, tempers<br \/>\nand forgives me<br \/>\nme, you, me<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ol>\n<ul>\n<ol>\n<strong><em>Somos menos quienes nunca lograremos escribir<br \/>\nun buen poema de amor que quienes nunca<br \/>\nlograremos escribir a tiempo un poema de amor<\/em><\/strong><\/ul>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nAmo tu temperatura. Es lo que amo,<br \/>\ny no a ti<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nSuave, donosa, guarda el calor l\u00e1cteo de la espiga. Se entrega de madrugada, antes<br \/>\nque yo amanece y anuncia<br \/>\n&#8211;desde su delta\u2014<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nla bajada de los sue\u00f1os<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nAmo tus ojos. Por su mar, por su hada<br \/>\npor su<br \/>\n<em>id<\/em><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\ny mientras yo destrozo cada vez la pantalla de los t\u00f3picos<br \/>\ndel azul, invades lo que no tiene color, lo dejas dentro cada vez jam\u00e1s<br \/>\nencontrar\u00e9<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nno a ti<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nAmo tu caligraf\u00eda. Restos de eternidad, herencia m\u00eda<br \/>\nque simulas tuya a\u00fan<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nvoz de tela que me arropa<br \/>\ny wolframio. She is also a board member of poetry <em>magazine Nayagua<\/em>, which is a publication by the Jos\u00e9 Hierro Poetry Foundation, where she was a teacher from 2007 to 2016. Member of the Genialog\u00edas Association and the <em>8que80 <\/em>collective of female poets; co-editor of <em>Diminutos Salvamentos poetry collection<\/em>. She walks along the haiku and flamenco lyrics paths. A philologist (hispanist), with a degree free master in continuous training and questioning.
