My life is written in chalk<\/strong>
\nno better or worse than yours<\/strong>
\na driving rhythm caught me by surprise<\/strong>
\ntaking me to places where<\/strong>
\neighth notes swing free<\/strong>
\nhorns cry and singers scat<\/strong>
\nand <\/strong>i could shed my skin<\/strong>
\nabsorbing every sound and shade<\/strong>
\nthrough my pores and tribal wars<\/strong>
\ni cradle my life holding it close<\/strong>
\nknowing one day the rain will erase memories<\/strong>
\nmy memorabilia may find its way<\/strong>
\non the side of a road<\/strong>
\na garage sale or hanging on a strangers wall<\/strong>
\nbut if you call<\/strong>
\ni will answer<\/strong>
\n

\nJudy started playing piano at the age of three, and studied at the Julliard School Of Music in New York City, her native city.
\nShe became a jazz pianist and continues to play jazz. Now residing in Florida, she started writing poetry three years ago, and has been published in the Moonlight Dreamers Of The Yellow Haze anthology<\/em>, Thepoetcommunity, Whispersinthewind, Indiana Voice Journal. <\/em> Poetry runs deep in her veins along with Music.<\/strong>
