\nthe honorable age of eighty-two
\nFor me, sipping my sherry,
\nit was the time of day to relax

\nWhen he was younger
\nhe frightened me with
\nhis abrupt violent bad temper
\nAging took the edges off
\nhis tantrums
\nNowadays, I have decided
\nto remember my granddad
\nby these languid sherry moments
