mango shadow

down thru spinning<\/p>\n

smoke into hot light<\/p>\n

blink beat
\n <\/p>\n

body ends dangle<\/p>\n

lead eye skin cement<\/p>\n

high on tongue
\n <\/p>\n

night pasted among<\/p>\n

buildings Styrofoam clouds<\/p>\n

moon hung beneath billboard<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

rolling pass wet<\/p>\n

rocked streets<\/p>\n

soul tramp<\/p>\n

diamond panhandlers watch<\/p>\n

paper birds slices of<\/p>\n

the daily news drift in air<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

comes cool ether<\/p>\n

whispers up door<\/p>\n

climbing dusty corridor<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

tree windows lapping lisp<\/p>\n

door slams again noise again<\/p>\n

then none void nothing syncopates<\/p>\n

noise again door slams tree bare frozen
\n <\/p>\n

caught in the image of 7 candles<\/p>\n

within 7 candles flames of air<\/p>\n

7 light bulbs growing out of each other<\/p>\n

7 silver circles coined from 7 silver rings
\n <\/p>\n

clear as blazing sheets<\/p>\n

of glass yet<\/p>\n

vague as dust<\/p>\n

an ice cube on wood table<\/p>\n

in front of crushed velvet<\/p>\n
