An ill-thought-out statement can pack quite a punch,
\nSo it’s best to be careful while speaking:
\nWhat you say at breakfast … can eat you for lunch. *
\n 
\nA bare-knuckle sandwich might be what you munch
\nIf your words cause inordinate ‘freaking’:
\nAn ill-thought-out statement can pack quite a punch.
\n 
\nUnwelcome visitors might join you for brunch
\nIf bad thoughts from your mouth exit streaking:
\nWhat you say at breakfast … can eat you for lunch.
\n 
\nThe state of the world, at last forced to the crunch,
\nThrows a stench that’s quite powerfully reeking:
\nWhat you eat for breakfast may inconvenience your lunch.
\n 
\nOf the species on earth, we’re the worst of the bunch,
\nAnd we’ll likely not find what we’re seeking:
\nMother Nature could just simply CANCEL our lunch.
\n 
\nNo ‘bang’ and no ‘whimper’ can make such a scrunch
\nAs the blast where the fuel line was leaking.

\nWhat you mis-said at breakfast … can eat you for lunch.<\/strong>
