\n 
\n 
\nI took a turn
\ninto the outskirts
\nof the assumption
\n 
\nthat each darkness
\nis a cool pool
\nwaiting
\n 
\nfor my warmth
\n& I got burned
\nmany times
\n 
\nby the thick life
\nthat never dies
\nin that world.
\n 
\nI left
\nwhole years
\nin those places.
\n 
\n 
\nWARM #8
\n 
\n 
\nI look twice
\nat the pinch
\nof away
\n 
\n& away from
\nme. I am
\ntaken by
\n 
\nhow often
\nI long to be
\nthe collision.
\n 
\n 
\nWARM #9
\n 
\n 
\nAll over again,
\nI talked about birth
\nas flight,
\n 
\nbut to take the air
\n& the wind
\nat the same time
\n 
\ntakes maturity.
\nWe crawl
\nthough every inch
\n 
\nof the warm
\ncascade before
\nwe ever look up.
\n 
\nWe shake
\nfor decades
\nafter we stand.
\n
