\noh moon, did you stop a while
\nto consider, what of the ocean?
\nHow is he to bear your weight
\nin his liquid, unformed arms?
\nHe ripples over you, trying
\nto bring you back to life, but
\nyou lay unbreathing, torpefied
\nlike possums in presence
\nof hunters.
\n 
\n 
\nThe night will bring you none
\nof the justice you seek;
\nthere will be no incarnations
\nof your plight or adversaries,
\nyour voice will beat like stones
\nagainst deadened walls
\nof overused mercy.
\n 
\n 
\nThe sky goes about its job,
\nunaffected, by your call
\nfor trial, you have jumped
\nin vain. Did the stars not tell
\nof the written book?
\nThe clouds have gathered
\nover your dimming body;
\n 
\n 
\nthe ocean roars at the sky,
\nhis enormous waves gush
\nlike a whale\u2019s death song
\nfor pity. The clouds open,
\nthrowing back the waves
\ninto his inlet as you drown
\ndeeper into pitless realities
\nof a wasted suicide.
\n
