Roof tops are mad
\nrattling, whispering
\ngroaning. They love noise
\nthat is piquant.
\nThey love silences of time.
\nTheir lunacy is immeasurable
\nand then they chortle.
\nNo, they are not humorous
\ntheir bland movements
\nare to be taken seriously.
\nAnd when rains pound heavily (on them)
\nthey raise voices in chorus.
\nSometimes birds, rabbits, dogs and monkeys climb
\non to them in parasitical delight
\nwhen night’s heaviness weighs on silences.
\n 
\nRoof tops then articulate movements
\nof steady sound. Rat- a- tat. Sounds
\nthat impinge dreams, hallucinations.
\nGhosts walk on them.
\n 
\nAs a child roof tops hurtled into sleep.
\nStill harangue.<\/strong>
\n

His poems in English have been published world wide. He also writes for newspapers and magazines\/ web zines on matters ranging from society and politics to education. He holds a doctoral degree on the novels of William Golding. He edits the poetry column of The Thumb Print Magazine<\/em>, and has published seven collections of poetry.<\/strong>
