\nthe self that brings its being
\nto our work.
\nHe (she) reads the words,
\nuses them, cuts them and mends
\nthem as needed.
\nBut we must allow that process,
\nwe must allow play with our
\nsentences, must allow the reader
\nto recline on the pillow we make
\nwith verbiage.
\nWe must be open when we write
\nso that the reader came come
\ninside the word and take a peek.
\n
