\nAre my dreams of the dead
\ndreams of purgatory
\nbattered, wounded as they are?
\n 
\nWhere I live now!
\n 
\nThe mad struggle of the dead
\nin the vacuous corridors of time.
\n 
\nReally, they’ve gone
\nthey don’t return, except as myths
\nto reinvent time.
\n 
\nOur time of broken dreams
\n 
\n‘creatures of tradition moulding a nature
\nthat weeps not for us for the wounds
\nit heals, impervious
\nafter it nurtured us into existence’
\n 
\nBlind Tiresias had warned.
\n 
\nAs if we had a choice in this paradox
\nas if we could escape
\nthe blunder which created us
\n 
\nthe cosmic joke, where time
\nwill destroy even the world
\nfor time to be reborn.
\n 
\nIn this dream world, where I
\nonly seem to wake
\nto this small dance of words
\na dance of phantoms with their shadows
\nwhere this poem shapes its becoming.<\/strong>
