You long to be a Douglas fir
\nTall, straight, almost immortal
\nBut you stand like a Peking willow
\nProne to cankers, full of twisted twigs<\/p>\n

Worse still, you are not so resistant
\nAs the authentic willow that can bend gracefully
\nShake off all its unwanted leaves in autumn
\nWhen there is a wind blowing even from nowhere<\/p>\n

No matter how much sunshine you receive
\nDuring the summer, you have nothing but scars
\nTo show off against winter storms
\nThe scars that you can never shake off<\/strong><\/p>\n
