\n\u201cGive me a break!\u201d
\nIt says often.
\n  
\nIt\u2019s already tough to stand on same place
\nfor years, fixed by trashy threads
\n 
\nthat keeps on digging the soil
\nbeneath, more day after day;
\nand call it strengthening.
\n 
\nJust hover around
\nas decorations and possessions
\nwithout being attached.
\n 
\nTwigs are overloaded.
\nDont suck.
\n 
\nFeel free to roam around but
\ncome back , when in evenings
\nfolks pass by appreciating affluence.
\n 
\n

Bio:
\nAparna Pathak belongs to Delhi, India. Graduate in English (Honors) and post graduate in public relations , her poems have been published in more than 30 print anthologies, online publications and also various literaty magazines like twice in \u201cReflections\u201d, and Negative Suck, Rolling Thunder Press, and blue Cygnus. One of her poem has been awarded the commendation of \u201d Highly Commended \u201d in the Poem of the Year Category of the Destiny Poets\u2019 International Community of Poets ICOP Awards 2012. Her own book of poetry, “silent flute ” was published in January 2014. <\/strong><\/p>\n
