\nthe uncertainty real,
\nyet daring and confident,
\nthe journey painful,
\nbut beautiful,
\nupon the canvas,
\nintense and electric,
\nalive,
\nan image of what life should be,
\ncould be,
\nbut is not,
\nfor the safe and the secure.
\n<\/strong> 
\n 
\nBio: Douglas Polk is a poet living in the wilds of central Nebraska with his wife and two boys, two dogs and four cats. Polk has had over 600 poems published in over 100 publications within the last five years. <\/strong>
