\nIt might be dirty, bloody and wounded,
\nbut at least its honest
\nat the end of the day
\nafter working in the graveyard
\nto bury all the bones
\nthat the others so quickly forget.
\n 
\n 
\nIt might be scarred, numb and broken,
\nbut at least it sleeps soundly
\nfor a few hours after midnight
\nonce the dirt is piled back
\natop the six foot hole
\nthat the worms will soon be swarming.
\n 
\n 
\nIt might never have a lover,
\nit might never smile at a sunset,
\nit might never taste of passion,
\nbut at least it gets the job done
\nno matter the conditions,
\ndoing what no one else is willing,
\nit\u2019s only reward the ash and dust.
