\nThe cycles of the moon
\nhave been with us
\nsince man first crawled
\nout of the trees.
\n 
\n 
\nStaring up through branches
\nor from the grasslands
\nour ancestors saw
\na common glow,
\na friendly face.
\n 
\n 
\nPoets and travelers
\nwere and are
\nnever far from home
\nso long as that satellite
\nhovered above.
\n 
\n 
\nThough it sends
\nno messages on its own
\nwe can bounce thoughts
\noff of it.
\n 
\n 
\nSome of those feelings
\nand ideas have surfaced
\nin like minds in every age
\nwithout the need
\nof a cell phone.
\n 
\n 
\nThere is no signal tonight.
\nDo not wait for my call.
\nJust look out the window,
\nand know I am thinking of you.<\/p>\n
