 <\/p>\n

My eyes have eaten the Morna Valley in a feast of sight.
\nThe sweet pine and thyme scented airs fresh from the seas
\nhave reached my nicotine stained lungs.
\n 
\nI have stood privileged to hear flocks of birds chattering in shrubbery
\nor to watch a falcon riding the swirls of wind before diving,
\nlike a panther, for its prey.
\n 
\nI have witnessed the vast skies of night that dwarf humanity with constellations,
\nsolar systems, planets, moons and universes.
\n 
\nI have sensed shadows stalking my footsteps; felt the pull of lunar tides,
\non my own tides, as fascinated; I\u2019ve watched its penumbras and changes,
\nits cycles, in our petty breaths.
\n 
\nI have held cloud-induced commentaries with God and in the vast silences of my daily time;
\nI have spoken to the dead, lulled by their camaraderie, comforted by their presence.
\n 
\nNo doubt, peaky and press-ganged, at some future date,
\nwandering down Ladbroke Grove in London, I might remember this intelligence,
\namongst my city-influenced companions.
\n 
\nMy heart breaks

\nRobin Marchesi, born in 1951, began writing in his teens, much to the consternation of his mother, <\/span>the sister of Eric Hobsbawm, the historian.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In 1992 Cosmic Books published his first book entitled \u201cA B C Quest\u201d. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In 1996 March Hare Press published \u201cKyoto Garden\u201d and in 1999 \u201cMy Heart is As\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

ClockTowerBooks published his Poetic Novella, \u201cA Small Journal of Heroin Addiction\u201d, digitally, in 2000. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Charta Books published his latest work entitled \u201cPoet of the Building Site\u201d, about his time working with Barry Flanagan the Sculptor of Hares, in association with the Irish Museum of Modern Art. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

He is presently working on an upcoming novel entitled \u201cA Story Made of Stone.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
