\nRemain calm,<\/p>\n

I\u2019m a marketing professional \u2013<\/p>\n

I am not a follower but a leader,<\/p>\n

an influencer who tells you what to buy<\/p>\n

and when to buy it.<\/p>\n

Are you buying this?
\n 
\n 
\nI have no idea how my career came to this,<\/p>\n

I was going to be a rockstar or a Great Writer<\/p>\n

but if I\u2019m honest,<\/p>\n

it\u2019s easier to get a job than a book deal.
\n 
\n 
\nPlease remain calm,<\/p>\n

we are all of us anxiety-ridden<\/p>\n

and we deal with disorders in our own special ways,<\/p>\n

only I can\u2019t remember where my lighter is.
\n 
\n 
\nAnxiety is neither a disorder nor a state of mind,<\/p>\n

it is a natural response to the world around us \u2013<\/p>\n

if you ain\u2019t scared sometimes<\/p>\n

then there\u2019s reason to be worried;<\/p>\n

your secondary school education was a scam,<\/p>\n

purely controlled exposure to stress and prejudice<\/p>\n

\u2018cause the school of hard knocks is a real place baby<\/p>\n

inside our heads, inside our hearts,<\/p>\n

inside our minds.
\n 
\n 
\nMillions of years of deterministic natural selection<\/p>\n

coupled with the sexual behaviours of the human female<\/p>\n

and the one bad gene passed down through generations<\/p>\n

have all come to this, this world, this life,<\/p>\n

these living legends trapped on the dole<\/p>\n

trying to monetise art through nice online communities<\/p>\n

but let me tell you this my friend,<\/p>\n

you can\u2019t crowdsource a cure for cancer<\/p>\n

and your country\u2019s budget is wasted on the arms race,<\/p>\n

why don\u2019tcha blow a few heads off before the banks collapse?
\n 
\n 
\nThese anxious words are a unique celebration<\/p>\n

never before seen in the annals of human existence,<\/p>\n

just words that any man could write<\/p>\n

and so why shouldn\u2019t I?<\/p>\n

Every soul on earth is complicit<\/p>\n

and this indictment brings shame on us all \u2013<\/p>\n

we are killing the planet through our sheer stupidity,<\/p>\n

we are destroying our most precious resources<\/p>\n

just to watch them burn;<\/p>\n

when the world reaches its eventual destruction,<\/p>\n

who, then, will lead the applause?<\/p>\n
