Seemed a<\/strong><\/div>\n
Brawl<\/strong><\/div>\n
(Of sorts)<\/strong><\/div>\n
Of the movement<\/strong><\/div>\n
Of others in the often<\/strong><\/div>\n
Mundane blur of surviving<\/strong><\/div>\n

Dour dominion<\/strong><\/div>\n
Suffered acute eyes in<\/strong><\/div>\n
Wonderment, streets moiling \u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
With rapacious squawking hawkers,<\/strong><\/div>\n
And all the grousing animations of escapade<\/strong><\/div>\n
Vendors plying the needy with homemade \u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
Food, tomfoolery, and the bric-a-brac<\/strong><\/div>\n
Of some faraway place,<\/strong><\/div>\n
And being<\/strong><\/div>\n
Aware that<\/strong><\/div>\n
Very morning of a<\/strong><\/div>\n
Shadowy tramp steamer<\/strong><\/div>\n
Offloading some unavowed booty<\/strong><\/div>\n
Into the hands of indurate panhandlers,<\/strong><\/div>\n
Whose ultimate survival rested,<\/strong><\/div>\n
At all costs,<\/strong><\/div>\n
In the next sale or<\/strong><\/div>\n
Satisfactory scheme \u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
(To ensnare<\/strong><\/div>\n
Those fleeceable<\/strong><\/div>\n
With the unnecessary)<\/strong><\/div>\n

An under-handed drama of strategies;<\/strong><\/div>\n
Smiling broadly he plucked one from where it dangled,<\/strong><\/div>\n
And, after consuming it, filled his haversack for<\/strong><\/div>\n
