I toss in strangely troubled dreams<\/strong>
\n of rolling hills and woodland streams —<\/strong>
\n of soft, pale skin, so smooth and fair,<\/strong>
\n and moonlight glancing off her hair.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What can I say? What can I do?<\/strong>
\n Sad to say, she’s just not you.
\nTrue love calls …”Come, please be mine …
\nwe’ll drink to good Saint Valentine.”<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

and if, perchance, you choose to stay,<\/strong>
\n we’ll leave her there and go away,<\/strong>
\n to roam the world, to wander far ..<\/strong>
\n beneath fair Venus, morning’s star.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For fate could never put asunder<\/strong>
\n bonds of love, entwined in wonder\u2026<\/strong>
\n though our souls should dare to brave<\/strong>
\n a bright new land beyond the grave.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Why waste one day, one minute more?<\/strong>
\n Let’s bite the apple to the core,<\/strong>
\n and while the years and seasons fly,<\/strong>
\n our love will grow … and never die.<\/strong><\/p>\n
