In another life I was mute,<\/strong><\/p>\n

written words were my voice.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So I lay awake<\/strong><\/p>\n

sculpting them<\/strong><\/p>\n

into a script\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

that could stain your mind.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I inked my history across my body<\/strong><\/p>\n

presenting myself as artefact<\/strong><\/p>\n

and all the stares, scorn<\/strong><\/p>\n

and petty human hatred<\/strong><\/p>\n

did not feel like trauma\u00a0any more,<\/strong><\/p>\n

they felt like value.<\/strong><\/p>\n
