I bought a new home,<\/strong><\/div>\n
but the mortgage was too big,<\/strong><\/div>\n
so when the economy collapsed<\/strong><\/div>\n
the bank quickly foreclosed<\/strong><\/div>\n
and I was evicted.<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
I moved into an apartment<\/strong><\/div>\n
but lost my job<\/strong><\/div>\n
and couldn’t\u00a0 pay the rent.<\/strong><\/div>\n
I stayed with friends,<\/strong><\/div>\n
but wore out my welcome<\/strong><\/div>\n
then slept in my car,<\/strong><\/div>\n
but the\u00a0 city towed it away.<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
Now I live on the streets,<\/strong><\/div>\n
a hand to mouth existence<\/strong><\/div>\n
and don’t know if I’ll survive<\/strong><\/div>\n
until things improve.<\/strong><\/div>\n
