Haiku
by Chris Carmichael

a quilt of dresses
from my mother's innocence
keeps me warm tonight
Night Hitch

left side, fireflies -
right side, dragon's eyes
no air ; just honeysuckle

Runaway

too eager to see
the city's cold,cruel morning -
fallen daffodil !

slushy streets of spring -
the night, a brandied cigar ;
Ahh Rachmaninoff !
