Don't look now
but he's the one
the one in those cotton jeans
The fabric with that certain touch and feel
when I hold it beside my skin
He's wearing cotton  (He's cool)
He's wearing cotton (so soft)
it's the fabric of our lives
He's wearing cotton  (He's smooth)
He's wearing cotton  (It breathes)
he's the apple of my eye
When he was born he was wrapped in cotton
so soft and smooth beside a baby's skin
When he was young his mamma dressed him
the mother's choice is cotton again

I bet last night he slept in cotton
and curled up in those cotton sheets.
one thing for sure I'll be wearing cotton
tonight when  i  sleep

Oh don't look now
but he's the one
the one in those cotton jeans
oh don't look now
he's coming over here
i think he's  a dream

He's wearing cotton  (He's warm)
He's wearing cotton  (It's real)
it's the fabric of our lives
He's wearing cotton (He's clean)
He's wearing cotton  (It's green)
he's the apple of my eye
