Sealed with Love
Stockings are hanging, Christmas balls dangling
reflecting the light of the fire and the tree.
The fireplace is warming my thoughts until morning.
What a beautiful place to be.
The presents are covered in bright Christmas colors,
all wrapped in ribbons, made out of gold.
And next to the window, a flickering candle
softens the shivering cold.
Christmas has finally come again,
and so we end another year.
Deep within my saddened heart,
love plays its part.
How I wish that you were here.
The joy of Christmas is the magic of children,
the song of their laughter __ beyond compare.
As the darkness now leaves us, the story of Jesus
sweetly fills up the air.
Presents are opened on this Christmas morning,
things that at one time, you may have dreamed.
There are gifts made for pleasure,
yet not all gifts are measured,
for my gifts are songs of my love.
Christmas time has come at last,
then gone again, and the time does pass.
yet __ throughout this day I’ll dream of you,
wishing you could hear me say,
that I love you so.
Just remember our times together,
and is this gift I bear enough?
Merry Christmas little Terry,
Merry Christmas … sealed with love.
