Bob Hope brought cheer to the troops in Vietnam

He gave to us a gift of Christmas filled with laughter
and smiling faces when it was most needed.

He helped us to want to experience feelings
when experiences brought unwanted feelings.

His team joked, sang and danced to music that brought us loving memories
In the mist of hostile sounds and scenes that brought avoided memories.
