My Son Little Bearwith his little belly hanging over his shorts
he toddles up the road in a permanent high
not a worry in the world, everything so fresh and new
"what dat mama ?", he smiles and looks onward
then points his chubby finger to a tree where he sees a squirrel
thump _ thump _ thump go his fat little feet
in an effort to move "daaaaaaaaaat mama?"his eyes open wide as he walks toward the furry friend
as quick as he noticed little squirrel, his focus was yet drawn again
to his left in the distance ran a little boy
full of good spirit and full of joy
"daaaaaat!daaaaaaaat!" he screams! while he runs
falling down endlessly on the grass in the sun
he ran here, he ran there, noticed everything in sight
except for the dusk that was turning to nightwe headed home to eat, and to bed
with his cheeks all flushed, from all the fresh air
he laid in his crib _ with his little bear
"ny ny mama", he says with a grin
then drifted off, till a new day begins ..."ny ny my little bear."
