The reps read 120 and declining
She was leaving me quick
I wanted her to stay so bad
I was already heartsick
As I watched her fade
I prayed and prayed
"LORD, please let us be together again some day?"

The nurse finally turned all machines off
I could no longer monitor my time left with her
She began to convulse, my heart tore constant
     as I leaned over to tell her I loved her

I begged in my mind for GOD to take her fast
Then she took her final breaths
She was gone …………..

A part of me left with her
If she only knew how much I miss her
If I could only tell her again how much I love her

       I’d feel so much better???????
