One Little Cloud

It only took one, one lonely cloud to rouse my mind
To drift and dream on a summer's day
I am so like this cloud, floating alone, so full of hope in the blue background of life
Hope for rain, for love, for joy, to hold and keep a drifter's eye
I am but one little cloud in the scheme of life
Simply an illusion, to be blown away by winds and soon to pass
But wishful that I've burnt some kind of memory
In some, even one dreamer's eyes
