Derryberry Reunion

The 2002 Reunion returned to the Choctaw Nation Community Center in Wilburton Oklahoma. It wasn't quite as hot as the previous year which was a welcome change of pace.

There were many door prizes donated and most were auctioned to help cover the costs of the Community Center and for food. There was plenty of food as usual.

Business activity involved the election of officers and discussion of future locations for the reunion.

Much appreciation is due James and Lucy Derryberry for all their efforts in hosting two great Reunions in Oklahoma. When you have a chance, thank them personally.

Sadly, the Adam House in Maury County TN is no more. Thanks to everyone who pledged contributions to save the historical old house, but it just wasn't meant to be.

NDFA is your family organization. You can help the officers by sharing your ideas about what the organization is and what it should be. All of your thoughts or comments are welcome. Just send your thoughts and ideas to me (Andy) and I'll send to the rest of the officers. Also, please give some thought to officers for the future. More participation means shared effort and fresh thinking.
