WINTER PARTY
This quiet of snow
Snow flake falling
Restful so
Winter calling

This hidden glade
Where tiny elves,
Can be themselves,
Catching snowflakes
Before they melt and fade

This soft lantern light,
Reflects beautiful faces,
Captured in secluded glen
Watch them dance!
Put through their paces,
In the delicate white,
Far from the world of men!

The winter celebration
Held for many a season
By delicate jeweled elves
Who can be by themselves
For no other reason

Darting blue light,
Infectious giggle
This softly falling snow,
a playground
The elves dance in the white.
The game of tag and wriggle,
Round and round,
Delights them so

These elves dressed
In their party best
Shimmering in blue and green
Their wings,
with iridescent sheen,
the like you have never seen
This soft glow
on fresh fallen snow
Darting blue light
A glorious sight!

The soft sound of flute
Like an owls hoot!
Masked by falling snow,
enjoyed by elves so

This elven throng,
Full of spirit and song!
The sound of flutes,
And tiny feet in felt boots
This party underway,
elves at play

For winter is here
In this hidden glade
Where tiny elves
Can be themselves
And have nothing to fear
Catching snowflakes
