Bugs that Mimic Butterflies

In shoptalk of love's poetica
gone dizzy with the scent of you:
draft of squeezed lime shaving creme--
a squirt of its paint across my cheek.
I type toward perfect, madly
sadly gladly badly messing
up a repertoire of selflessness
on altars of a passing day.
Words are willed, a page is filled.
Bugs that mimic butterflies.
