The Homecoming
Full moon lumbers over sunset mountains,
Where trees dress themselves, in finest gowns
__ Burgundy, yellow and brown
They'll dance their last waltz,
Neath the autumn harvest moon
Then sail with the wind, and on the ground
__they will wait;
For little girls love to hold bunches and crunch over sidewalks,
In briskness of cool on fall days
To kick up some foliage__ sing and dream of tomorrows
And wait for homecoming once again
This amplification of nature,
Brings the sparkle in her aged eyes
as the snow will soon fly, and her heart now can mend
It is the end of the former, time to seek out the new
Time to forgive, to be ready, revive,
Reawaken the old, to stir in the new
Without hesitation, the homecoming is due
Welcome
