There is a realm beyond our physical senses, a realm that is infinite and mystical transcending time. A place that sooths and enriches the spirit within us. A place to rest, restore and replenish our souls. Behind the veil of our consciousness lies the “stillness.” You may have thought about it, perhaps even longed to bask in it but have yet to make room for it.

The hunger for solitude visits each of us from time to time, for we have a basic need for tranquility. Silence is not a luxury but a requirement, for it is in her presence that we learn to quiet our minds and mellow our attitudes.

Silence is “rest for the mind.” It is to the spirit what sleep is to the body. Drink deeply from the well of peace and give yourself permission to close the door on chaos.

Angels Amongst Us

Have you ever found yourself in the midst of obstacles and obscurities when suddenly, out of the blue, you encounter, if only for a brief moment, someone who illuminates the path?

When I think of synchronicities and meaningful coincidences, I think of Earth Angels. These wonderful beings appear inexplicably, at the most unusual times, and seemingly out of nowhere. Mysterious individuals arriving to bring hope, direction and inspiration, lighting our spiritual fuel.

It is written Angels are “Messengers of God;” that they come from light and are pure of heart. But how can we recognize them if we are not sure what to look for? Can it be that angels are everywhere ~ the stranger who smiles, the homeless soul scavenging through bins in search of a treasure, perhaps the next panhandler who holds out a hand, how about that person seated next to you??? We can never be sure…can we?
