Computer
Thumbing through
Large Books

Sometimes
I see an obnoxious teenager
Painting her
Toenails
During a slumber party

Sometimes
I see a crying child
Just wanting
Some
Peace
Of
Mind

And sometimes
I only see
A person
Trying to see who she is
