my room

the walls are my horizon
my ceiling is the sky
the earthen floor will be my bed
as i watch the world go by

the trees will shade me lighting
when the sun is very bright
the clouds will be my blanket
when the moon’s the only light

well now i must go back
to the place i love to be -
the place that nature gave me
my room - the place for me
