This is a detail of the larger work. Often the beauty in the details cannot be shown in the size of the screen and it's fun to scroll around in this image. The artwork is in family hands right now. My niece. She may sell it, but bring your pocketbook. She likes it.

barefoot toes in blades of grass
lemonade on front porch swings
i know i lived there once
in a making of my own dimensions
i danced on moonlit nights
fairies at my feet
maypoles, flowers, sweetgrass
we didn't name it Oaklands
we only knew it as home.
